Graphic Photos: At Least 20 Burnt To Death From Gas Depot Explosion In Nnewi Anambra State

At least  20 people have been reported dead after a Gas Depot owned by Chicason Group and located along traffic light at Nnewi-Okigwe road behind Innoson Motor Manufacturing industry in Nnewi, Anambra state exploded on Thursday 24th December 2015.

The explosion  destroyed the Depot, its  surroundings including some buildings and cars around it. Workers, customers and motorcyclists were among those killed.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Injured persons from the explosion were taken to the Nnamdi Azikwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH). This is really sad, especially today Xmas eve. May God rest the souls of the departed. Amen.

    OMG. this is really sad. I have been praying for God to preserve his people this period and beyond. that we may not hear any bad news. May their souls find rest
