The APC joined the presidency in advising all principal officers of the National Assembly to resign, after the accused persons all pleaded not guilty and called the accusations as an attack on Nigerian democracy.

In his address to newsmen in the Governor Ayodele Fayose-led state, Orire said: “Saraki and Ekeremadu should humbly resign if theyare not shameless. “Some people mentioned in the Panama Papers scam have resigned. They should resign.”

Speaking further on Senate President Saraki, he stressed that the environment in Ekiti had become hostile for investors due to the “bad attitude of the governor” as he showered praises on Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the national leader of the APC, for liberating the south west from political bondage.
