Jubilation gone sour as a young man by the name Sleek stabbed his friend upon a quarrel the Central Area in Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State .
According to investigation, Sleek had made a huge bet upon a game on one of the popular gaming sites and miraculously won 2 million naira when the results were announced.
Sleek called his friends to join him in the celebration where one of his friends seized the winning ticket from his hands (Sleek) put it in his mouth and chewed it.
Enraged, the winner took a knife from a nearby hawker and stabbed his friend repeatedly in the stomach and head. Shocked almost immediately for what he had done, Sleek with the help of his other colleagues rushed the victim to a nearby hospital but unfortunately was dead upon arrival to the medical premises.
To add salt to injury,Sleek was arrested on site.
