Photos From Nollywood Legend Bukky Ajayi’s Burial Today

Respected Nollywood thespian Zainab Bukky Ajayi who passed away in the early hours of today, July 6, 2016 at the age of 82 has been buried according to Muslim rites and custom at Atan Cemetery Yaba, Lagos.
Although she practiced both religions-Christianity and Islam-during her life time, she was at the time of her death a Muslim. Close family sources also say that she left a standing order to be buried on the day of her demise acording to Muslim rites.

I had the rare opportunity of meeting her many years ago during her rapper/actor son Kunle Fawole aka Abounce’s birthday. She was so pleasant and nice to everyone. Indeed Nollywood has lost a legend and mentor. RIP ma’am.
