Turkey Coup: 194 killed After Uprising Against President Erdogan

An attempted coup has taken place in Turkey after military chiefs tried to overthrow the president.

The Turkish president, Tayyip Erdogan said in his statement that the military forces have the situation under control but it seems like the total opposite as of now.

Gunfire and explosions were reported in the capital Ankara and main city Istanbul. Footage even showed a tank rolling over a taxi with people inside.
Videos on YouTube also show a helicopter opening fire on protesters.A total of 194 people died during clashes with more than 1,500 military personnel arrested by Turkish authorities.
