There isn’t a person who hasn’t seen Mark Zuckerberg-who is presently in Lagos-in the same top and jeans out on the streets or at events. Facebook’s CEO says that he lives a “simple” life and proudly wears the same thing every day.

“I mean, I wear the same thing every day, right? Zuckerberg said in an interview with CNN. “My wife has a bunch of stuff. Although she has her drawer — primarily scrubs for the hospital — I get one drawer. And my drawer is about 20 of these gray t-shirts.”

Zuckerberg has appeared on Nens Faahion magazines like GQ and Esquire’s and was voted as worst dressed in 2011. Other brilliant minds who wore the same thing every day are Albert Einstein and Steve Jobs.

He tells news networks that he feels “a lot of responsibility” for his employees, who are comfortable calling him by his first name. “No one calls me ‘Mr. Zuckerberg”. The young billionaire explains as it makes him feel older and less approachable at the office.

How rich is he?
This is the question I guess is on your mind, even as he is seen humbly jogging around the streets of LAGOS this morning . Well, Zuckerberg now has more money than fellow tech billionaires Sergey Brin and Larry Page, the co-founders of Google, as well as Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. In fact he’s richer than everyone in California.

Zuckerberg added more than $18 billion to his fortune in the past year alone, riding a 52% surge in the value of the social networking site’s shares. The 32-year-old CEO now has an estimated $51.6 billion to his name, landing him on Forbes‘ second annual list of the richest person in every state. Zuckerberg has gained $7 billion in just the 3 months since he appeared on the Forbes World’s Billionaires List in March. He is currently the world’s sixth-richest person.

He can literally afford to pay evey students tuition fees in Nigeria witout breaking a sweat. Yet you see him going to the mall, doing grocery shopping, having ice cream with total strangers and driving a Honda.

If he were a Nigerian ehn?

It’s just a personality issue, I also know of several rich men in Nigeria that live a simple life. Anyway I admire his humility.
