Hopes for gold have been out on hold as one of the French gymnasts, Samir Air Said broke his leg while making a difficult landing during the Olympics.

According to eye witnesses,there was a loud snap as one of the Olympians from the French team fell with a loud thud shocked to see that his left leg has completely snapped off leaving a very gruesome scene.

Immediately he was taken off the stage by the paramedics and is currently undergoing surgery. We all wish Samir a speedy recovery.
