United Airlines Makes Emergency Landing Due To Heavy Turbulence, Leaves 14 Passengers And 2 Crew Members Hospitalized

Passengers aboard a United Airlines flight were taken to a hospital after the jet experienced turbulence this morning and had to make an emergency landing.

 The craft enroute to Heathrow Airport in London from Houston,Texas had experienced particularly bad weather which affected the engines and had to make an impromptu landing for safety reasons.

Upon arrival to an airport in close by Ireland, two crew members and 14 passengers were rushed to a hospital with injuries, the airline said. The extent and cause of their injuries has been revealed, and the airline has not stated the cause of the turbulence.


United said it is “providing care and support” to the travelers stranded in Ireland to get to their destinations safely and will give out a press release when necessary investigations are carried out.
