There is nothing wrong with the dress, just that it looks weird and awkward.

Lol. Thag is the style Manny. It’s called a high low dress.

  2. AnonymousIgbogal says

Nothing wrong at all with her dressing it’s very decent…NPA female staff prohibited from wearing trousers and mini skirts to work…makes me wonder what is going on in Nigeria. This is 2016 are we going forward or backwards? May be she should wear kaftan or tie wrapper like ibo women or dress like kemi adeosun smh

When others like zuckerberge and Tim Cook are making the world go round with their ideas without minding what they wear, our old cargoes here are busying monitoring dressing amidst this recession. SMH.

This is 2016 people, this is a new administration, this is change, emphasis on the word “change”…
This administration is taking no prisoners, the keywords in any government agencies is “Dress responsible”.
If a guy will not go to such a place in his shorts or knickers, why should a lady go there in something that looks like an oversized shirt to a place populated by old men and women or people with no knowledge of latest fashion, who can’t differentiate between a shirt and a high low dress…

Sorry llsa Aida, but you ask for it, you my lady was addressed the way you’re dressed. You look like a Runz girl in those clothes, more going for a fashion parade…
When you’re in Rome, you act like a Roman…

Smh…. this is unbelievable! The officer must have been economically frustrated to say something wrong the dress.

  6. Babafemi says

@bomi, focus… I can’t believe you just called her names! Your comment is not only irritating but I can reckon with your myiopic impression. You need to know the rot in that agency and many of its kinds, right from the highest to the lowest ranked officer to appreciate that the officers acted out of duty line. Was their a notice detailing the acceptable dressing for visitors to receive service? My opinion; this is a behavior that’s very typical of public officers I this country.

Babafemi I think you my man is the person who need to take a chill pill, relax and focus before blowing off steam and blowing Grammar.
First of all I never insult her, I was only looking at her through the eyes of the immigration officers and it was clearly stated in my comment. If your sister have a job interview, will you advise her to dress like that to her job interview.
Secondly, I respect the female gender a lot and will never ever disrespect them, cos I know how hard it is for any woman to succeed in any industry and economy. I’ve even shown respect for prostitute, strippers on this blog before, cos I know deep down, non of them want to be down there, but situation make them.
Lastly, I’m a big fan of the kardashian clan, and I’ll go for Amber Rose anytime any day ahead of Kim except for Khloe… lool

About the issue on ground, my dear, everyone knows Officers at immigration office are bunch of corrupt hypocrites, who think they are above the law, and can make you do whatever to follow their will even when you are right, so why give them reasons to maltreat you.
I was there sometime ago to renew my passport and was told point blank to pay extra if I don’t want any delay, they were so blunt about it, not even sugar coating it.

This fault lies with the female gender who refused to fight for themselves, and allowed themselves be bullied by mankind. We’re in a world women help the opposite gender to crucify their fellow mate.

So please, don’t hate the player, hate the game…

@Bomi am sorry on your behalf for the comment you made. Hope you are not an APC supporter? Because you all go about writing all sorts of ridiculous comments on issues just to support the present administration even though everyone knows they are clueless. Like you pointed out this is 2016 and there is nothing indecent about the lady’s style of dressing

    1. Bomi says

Thanks for your concern, but I’m no Apc supporter, I’ve been PDP from the start, I’ve never supported this administration, even during the election I spoke against them, while everyone on this blog criticized me, cos I know from the start that, this administration can’t fulfill the promises in their manifesto.
I remembered I criticized someone for posting mostly anti PDP article and been more PRO Apc, but because I don’t want to be misunderstood, I hold my peace out of respect for the person, even after I was schooled and scolded by her, though I have more than enough points to prove my case.

About the issue on ground, my dear, you already made lots of my points for me. Officers at immigration office are bunch of corrupt hypocrites, who think they are above the law, and can make you do whatever to follow their will even when you are right .

Nigeria is a country that wants all her citizens to walk into heaven. In this country, we don’t tolerate any sheet from nobody.
