Arsenal fans get in here, this is for you!!

Former Arsenal striker, Ian Wright has revealed that he believes manager, Arsène Wenger will leave the club at the end of the season after almost 21 years in charge.

Wright made the comments on BBC Five Live on Friday night one day after Telegraph Sport revealed that the Arsenal board was concerned Wenger would not sign the new two-year contract on offer.

The club’s majority owner Stan Kroenke wants Wenger to stay but increasing fan disquiet over another collapsing title challenge is eating away at the Frenchman’s resolve to remain.

Ahead of Arsenal’s critical home game against Hull City on Saturday, Wright said of Wenger: ‘I get the impression that that’s it. He looks tired. You just feel that he looks winded. I feel that he will go at the end of the season.”

“He actually mentioned that he is coming to the end. I have never heard him say that before.

“The players have let him down badly. If he does leave at the end of the season, there will be a lot of changes. They should have a long, hard look at themselves. He has been so faithful to his team, it has been misplaced.”

Arsenal fans should be overjoyed at this news, especially thier Nigerian association. lol

There have been repeated campaigns of #WengerOut on social media for the past couple of seasons, so finally getting what they want should see them catch a sigh of relief.

Being 4th contenders  every season takes it toll on the heart.
