Popular American cable, BET Networks is currently being dragged to hell and back on twitter by Nigerians for doing the unforgivable.
Hours ago, the television channel took to their official Twitter page to send YBNL boss Olamide birthday wishes as the singer turns 28 today.
Unfortunately, their good intentions backfired after they shared the photo of an unknown black man playing the guitar instead of Olamide.
And since Nigerians have no form of chill, they came down hard and heavy on the network.
This reminds us of when singer Ginuwine paid tribute to late singer and close friend, Aaliyah, during her remembrance and shared the wrong photo.
What were they both thinking??

Ever since the gaffe, BET Networks down the post but didn’t make any attempt to share share the right photo afterwards.

Bet is always a bias medium, pot calling kettle black, never say anything good about whites, if Mtv makes the same mistake, bet will let all hell loose, calling them racist. Ever since I heard they don’t give African nominees the respect they deserve at their award, I’ve lost all respect for them.
