Abubakar Audu Wins Kogi Governorship Election
Abubakar Audu of the All Progressives Congress has defeated the incumbent Governor Idris Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party to emerge the new Governor elect of Kogi state.
The announcement was made, following the collation of the Kogi State governorship election results from all the Local Government Area in the state, by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
In total, Audu of the All Progressive Congress polled 240, 867 to defeat his PDP counterpart, Governor Wada who had 199, 514 votes out of the 21 Local Government Areas in the state.
How many PDP Governors do we have left in Nigeria? Lol.
UPDATE: INEC has just declared the election inconclusive.
wait first..wat goes around wil surely comes around…first it was pdp nd jonathan electoral commision…nw its buhari tym…APC change….pls cn any1 tel me d no of PDP govs we hav ryt nw in Nigeria.
What makes you think that buhari worked Audu’s re-election? Everyone knows that wada is the worst governor and Kogi’s state is the least developed. So I don’t think you should be surprised that Wada lost.
And what makes you think Jonathan manipulated the electoral body (INEC) if I can remember, the freest and fairest elections in Nigeria were conducted during Jonathan’s regime.
The election in Kogi State was declared inconclusive.
Whatever!!!
