He’s Unrecognisable! Check Out How Thor Actor Chris Hemsworth Transformed For A New Movie Role
Aussie actor Chris Hemsworth who rose to fame for his roles in Thor and the Avengers has been the toast of ladies around the world with his athletic physique until now.
But in a snap he posted on photo sharing social networking site Instagram on Sunday, the 32 year old Australian looked shockingly gaunt in an after embarking on an intense 500-calorie a day diet ahead of his new film ‘In the Heart of the Sea.’
He captioned the photo:
“Just tried a new diet/training program called “Lost At Sea.” Wouldn’t recommend it,”
In the Moby dick inspired movie ‘In The Heart Of The Sea’, Chris plays Owen Chase.
His character is a sailor stranded at sea with the other crew for 90 days as they struggle to overpower the massive beast before the killer whale destructs their ship, killing many on-board.
The average amount of calories recommended for a man per day depends on his size and activity levels, but it’s somewhere between 2000-3000.
This is why Hollywood actors get well deserved world wide recognition. The level of dedication to their craft is just out of this world. I have always been a huge fan of Hemsworth more than his brother Liam, and this just even makes me respect his talent more.
The movie premieres at Cinemas around the world on Dec 11. 2015.
