The 2016 BRIT Awards kicked off in typical style on Wednesday night, as the biggest stars of the music and showbiz worlds descended on London’s O2 Arena.

Leading the way on the red carpet were the likes of superstar singers and international icons Rihanna, Kylie Minogue and Adele, who was the first winner of the night with the British Female Solo Artist gong.
