All roads led to the Dolby Theatre on Sunday evening 28th February as Hollywoods’ A-list guests gathered for the 88th annual Academy Awards.
Since I started reporting red carpet fashion on MDB, I have never been as impressed as I was this year with the way the stars brought their A-game to the red carpet of the 88th Academy awards.
Ordinarily, a couple of celebs would have gotten my 5 star, but while doing this post, I realised almost late that I had give more than 6 celebs 5 star, and I wasn’t even done with the pictures yet so i had to review. That’s how good the stars dressed this year.
My 5 star favs were Cate Blanchet in Armani Privè, Jennifer Garner in Atelier Versace, Jennifer lawrence in Dior, Lady Gaga in Brandan Maxwell , Kate Winslet in Ralph Lauren, Olivia Wilde in Valentino Haute Couture, and Charlize Theron in Dior.
My 4 star (which was difficult to even pick) goes to Rooney Mara in Givenchy, Giuliana Rancid , Kerry Washington in Atelier Versace, Margot Robbie in gold snake skin Tom Ford, Tina Fey in purple Versace, Saoirse Ronnie green Clavin klein, Pregnant Chrissy Tiegen in Marchesa, and Daisy Ridley in powder blue Chanel. The list of best dress has never been this long!

May I say this is the first time I’ve ever seen MDB rate wears at any event.
But if you’ll come out this way, I think you shouldn’t hold back at all, you should rate every wear, praise and bash, no one should be spared.
I agree, this year’s Oscars is different, most of the people present are looking graceful.
