For a few weeks now, Renown Nigerian designer Deola Sagoe has been unveiling her new collection ‘The Komole Kandid Series’.
The collection divided into series one and two sees the designer make use of aso oke, custom laser cuts motifs, silk etc for an array of intricate designs ranging form evening wear to blouse and wrapper.
The blouse and wrapper which is the subject of this post is the ‘Daisy Swirl Motif’ in wine. An interested buyer made enquires and was told that it costs a whooping N1,250,000. Certainly not for the lil livered, lol. More photos below:

I understand your point, but this outfit right here is made for special occasions like Red carpet events, awards show, and so on, it’s specially made for superstars.
You might have seen Actors, actresses, and performing Artiste on red carpet, those outfit they wore is specifically made for them for that events by a designer for them to showcase at the events, so it’s not meant for everybody, just like the expensive custom made sky blue outfit made with pearls and gem by Prada for Lupita Nyongo at the 2014 Oscars. I can bet with you that some of the socialite in this country can afford it Deola Sagoe’s outfit.
I think the custom blouse and wrapper is flawless, elegant and befitting for a queen. I love the attention to details on the outfit, the textile is beautiful and the design is bellisimo and also check out the excellent craftsmanship on the edge of the outfit #Breathless #Bold #Gorgeous ….
