Senate Approves Death Sentence For Kidnappers

On Wednesday 4th of May 2016, the Nigerian Senate resolved to make a law that prescribes death penalty for kidnappers in Nigeria.

The law was proposed by Senator Adamu Aliero (Kebbi Central), who spoke extensively against kidnapping and condemned the phenomenon.

The proposal was promptly seconded by Senator Dino Melaye (Kogi West).

When Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, put the matter to vote, it was unanimously adopted by the lawmakers.

    Foolish people. Na there we go see them. Why them no fit make law sentencing corrupt politicians? Rubbish!

    Good law. But err what about corrupt lawmakers and politicians?
