X Machina-Fashion In An Age Of Technology: All the Glitz And Glam From 2016 METS Gala

It has been called the Oscars of the East Coast.

And The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit lived up to its reputation on Monday night as some of the biggest names in music, film, and the runway arrived wearing ornate costumes created by the world’s premier fashion designers.

Taylor Swift co-hosted this year’s event with Vogue US editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and Idris ELBA.

Theme of annual Manhattan event was Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology

Tickets for the 2016 Costume Institute benefit were priced at $30,000 with tables at $275,000.
