Since I started blogging in August 2012, I have had my own share of obstacles and there where many times I considered giving up.
Three things however has kept me going: God almighty, the love for what I do, and you my esteemed blog readers.
But amongst MDB readers, there is a special class whom I want to reach out to today. These people are the blog readers who despite their busy schedule leave comments on the blog after reading. They do not just read and move on, they drop very encouraging feed backs.
Over the years I have always stressed the importance of commenting on the blog to MDB readers. Your comments are very important to me and it helps me know that my work is appreciated and you’re reading. Comments also make me know those who really read the blog as Google can’t provide names or personal stats. It also encourages others to join the MDB family, because the conversations make things more lively.
Some Blog readers have noted the importance of dropping comments and have been very consistent and for this I say a BIG THANK you.
I’m talking about:
Bomi: Who leaves very intelligent, sometimes controversial(sometimes we no dey gree)comments on almost every MDB post, and never follows the crowd;
Omaz Court(Sandra Harry): Who uses English strong vocabulary, has been there from inception, four kids, three degrees, a normal 9-5 job and a per time lecturing job has not deterred her from been consistent in the blog;
Mannyxander the Lost MDBer: Who was also there from inception but disappeared and is now back and better and even more consistent;
Ahmed: Who leaves very diplomatic comments but doesn’t fail to say it from his perspective regardless;
Lionheart: Who may not have in the last few weeks been as consistent as he used to be but has supported MDB for years and it’s very blunt in stating his point of view.
These guys listed above have been there through thick and thin taking time not just to read but drop comments. I am very grateful for the consistency and love you have for MDB. I hope very soon I will be able to show how much I appreciate you guys in my own little way. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
