#Rio2016: Blessing Okagbare Crashes Out Of 200m

Nigeria’s medal hopes are beginning to get slimmer as top sprinter, Blessing Okagbare on Wednesday morning missed out on qualifying for the women’s 200m final at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Okagbare, clocked 22.69secs in the first semifinal, finishing fifth behind Holland’s Dafne Schippers, Jamaica’s Elaine Thompson, Britain’s Dina Asher-Smith and Germany’s Lisa Mayer.

Okagbare also crashed out of the 100m few days ago.
