The Lagos State Police Command has now arrested the suspect pictured above. He is said to have battered his wife’s niece, Latifat Adeyemi, in Ikorodu for using air conditioner last Friday.
After the report made rounds online, the State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, was said to have ordered the arrest of the suspect.
“The CP took up the matter and ordered that he should be fished out. He was arrested in his hideout in Ikorodu around 1.30pm. He struggled with the officials, but he has been arrested and the case transferred to the command headquarters. He will face charges if found culpable,” the police spokesperson, SP Dolapo Badmos said.

He should be incarcerated in the prison custody for 6 months and asked to never near that house again for the rest of his miserable life.
