Yesterday a young lady Tife Soleye posted photos showing a pack of Five Alive Berry blast with stuff that looks like small maggots in it.
According to Tife, she suspected foul play after some of the contents of the pack was poured in a cup and she noticed particles.
She then stopped the person from drinking and elected to cut open the pack only to discover this:
“I opened and found this. You really need to fix up @cocacola @cocacolaafrica.” She tweeted.
Tife however got a great shock after the Coca-Cola handle replied:
The insensitive response earned Coca-Cola censure and criticism from a lot of Twitter about how it has now become very common to find dirt, particles and all sorts of hazardous substances inside 5 Alive. See people’s reactions below:

One of the reasons I don’t drink till date is because I saw a huge dead cockroach in it many years ago. And guess what I had drank it half way using a straw!
Moral of the story: use a glass when drinking Five Alive(if you must drink at all) , any packed juice, or any drink that doesn’t come in a transparent container.
Better to be safe than sorry.
This is getting interesting and I strongly believe this is sabotage.

Sabotage? Don’t think so. They are just negligent. It happened to me a few months ago. I returned to the supermarket where I got it. S/mrkt owner confirmed about 3 other customers lodged the same complaint. I haven’t bought any Five Alive product since then. When they notice significant drop in their sales, they will buckle up!
This is just sad to say the least.

…. and I drink from the pack
I sincerely thought this was only common with imported can drinks as it happened to me when I poured an imported energy drink into a glass cup. The question is must we continue using our hands to kill ourselves? I know I have Very high sweet tooth but you know what? It is now a No No to any packed or can drink!!
