Revealed! Why Mark Zuckerberg Ignored Nigeria’s ICT Minister But Met With Kenya’s ICT Minister
While Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was in Nigeria, he met with entrepreneurs, developers, celebrities and many Nigerians but conspicuously omitted meeting with any government official.
Interestingly however, Mark who arrived Kenya yesterday met with their Information and Communication Technology Minister(ICT) Joe Mucheru. A lot of people have pondered about his decision but now, an explanation by a former aide to ex President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri makes a lot of sense especially considering that Zuckerberg is not a political figure.
Omokri shared this on his Facebook page concerning the issue:
The first picture is our ICT minister, Adebayo Shittu . He is in his 60s. The second picture is Kenya’s ICT minister, Joe Mucheru. He is in his 40s. Are you still wondering why Mark Zuckerberg chose to meet with him and not Shittu? Zuckerberg came to Africa to meet African youths, he did not come to meet Africa’s elder statesmen!
Makes sense to me! I mean Mark is 32, the minister is X2 his age! Common!
It was because of corruption….Corruption! Corruption!! Corruption!!!
He came to meet technocrats not politicians that served as square pegs in round holes.
True
Making lots of sense @LionHeart
