Remember the blue/ gold dress debate in February 2015? A smiliar debate has just been ignited after a Portuguese Twitter user Falsiane posted an image of flip flops on Thursday night.
A new image is reviving the craze of ‘the dress’ as Twitter users ask one another ‘what color do you see?’
The image has a clear color distortion and while some see the flip flops as gold and white, others see black and blue.
The viral dress began a discussion about human color perception and was used by some neuroscientists in research as they studied the phenomenon.
It even was cited in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
A poll on BuzzFeed shows 42 per cent see the shoes as white and gold, 25 per cent see blue and gold and 14 per cent see black and blue.
