Earlier this week, Nollywood actor Prince Eke who is married to songstress Muma Gee, had accused her of abandoning him and their three children.
Muma Gee said she was only doing her work in Abuja
Pouring out his heart in an emotional outburst on his Instagram page, Prince Eke accused his wife of fleeing to Abuja to frolick with different men, abandoning her three children, even when one is a less than four-months-old baby.
He had even gone ahead to address himself as ‘a single father of three lovely kids’, attracting the public to his plight.
Even though he has since deleted the post, it had already gone viral and Muma Gee had to be contacted to give her own side of the story.
Here’s what she said in an interview:
“Are you saying I shouldn’t do my work again because I am married? I am in Abuja and I came to work. I have a show here. In fact, I am in a meeting right now. I don’t have any problem with whatever he says.”
When asked if and why she abandoned her children, the mother of three said:
“I have no comment. I have a new album, let him help me and market it. It is this kind of controversy that we are looking for right now.”
The couple have been married since 2011, and have three children including a set of twins
Muma Gee is something else, I love her reply for those poke nosing into her affairs.
I think it’s totally unfair for her husband to accuse her publicly without evidence based on hearsay. I’ve seen, heard and read about women who quit their job cos their husbands say so, it never end well. Those husbands end up shaming them, telling them they only take care of the house while he go out to make a living for the family, some end up cheating on their wives.
Women have been saddle with the responsibilities of home keeping ones they’re married, men gets to be free, but who says you can’t be a mother and still follow your dreams, and what baffled me is women are in the forefront criticizing one of them who choose to standout to make a change. Why must women be the only one held liable for the home.
I’m not taking sides here but truth is, he was aware of the kind of person she is and he still choose to marry her, and for him she has sacrifice a lot, I mean three children in the space of how many years of marriage, he should be ashamed of himself, is he trying to turn her to baby factory? One thing I’m absolutely sure of is Muma will never leave those children alone with their father without providing help and assistance for all of them, including the ungrateful husband.
I wish him all the best, but men you fall my hand seriously, why would you address a private matter in public, it’s shows irresponsibility, you don’t care about your children’s wellbeing at all. What if one of their class mate insult their mum based on what they heard from their parents at home. Because you want to hurt your wife you attacked your own family just to get at her, you sir are a disgrace to manhood, and I think they should get those children away from you, cos only a deadbeat would pull that kinda stunt.
Again I’m not taking sides, I’m only commenting based on evidence Moji has presented to me.
