Nigerian Troops Captures White Gun Expert Who Allegedly Helps Boko Haram In Sambisa
Nigerian army has reportedly captured a foreigner amongst others in a final raid of the Sambisa forest.
New revelations about the foreigner, who is assisting with information currently, shows that he is a Frenchman and expert
Apart from being a Frenchman, the foreigner allegedly captured by soldiers when they attacked the Sambisa forest in Borno state recently is an expert in Amoured Personnel Carriers (APCs).
This disclosure was made by some of military sources, according to Daily Trust.
The Nigerian military is yet to make the identity of the captured foreigner known allegedly for diplomatic reasons, but the report insisted that he is a Frenchman and is already assisting with information.
The report quoted a source as saying: “He was arrested along the Bama axis of the Sambisa forest and agreed to give vital information provided he would be spared.
“I learnt that he is from France but authorities do not want to make his real identity known for diplomatic reasons…They don’t want to jeopardize the success recorded.”
It is not known yet how he found himself in the forest, but Cameroon, Niger Republic and Chad which are Nigeria’s neighbours in the northeast are French-speaking.
The report said the French embassy did not respond to an email and text message sent to it for reaction.
President Muhammadu Buhari and the soldiers who captured the Sambisa forest have been receiving commendations since the success was recorded.
