The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II is one proud dad who never shies away from showing off his daughters. And now he shows us that not only does he love his daughters, he is also unmistakably a veteran at being a grandfather as well.
Yesterday, we reported that his daughter Shahida Sanusi welcomed her first daughter with husband Abdulkadir Baba-Ahmed, and barely hours later, the Islamic ruler is already holding the child in new photos.
The Emir’s relationship with his daughters has always been one that melts the hearts. After he was crowned the Emir of Kano, the former Central Bank Governor took to social media to write about women’s rights and speak against child marriages.
Later, he confirmed that his Instagram account is run by his daughters: Fulani Siddika and Khadija Yusra Sanusi.
And now, unlike many men who fear they would hurt a newborn when they hold it, the Emir of Kano carries his new grand daughter with the ease of one who is experienced at this, no matter his social and political status.
This proud dad is also a proud grandpa!
