Governor Abiola Ajimobi spoke in Yoruba to students of Ladoke Akintola University and their colleagues who visited his office during a peaceful protest to demand the reopening of their institution jointly owned by Oyo and Osun states.
The school has been closed for 7months now, with Nigerian youths sitting at home with nothing to do. The obviously unhappy student visited the governor’s office in a bid to dialogue and seek a resolution to the unending strike.
But what followed was a public display of executive arrogance and tyranny.
