Photos: Yayha Jammeh Proceeds On Imposed Exile
Immediate past Gambian President, Yahya Jammeh, has embarked on an compulsory exile from Gambia to Guinea.
The president who had ruled for 22 years but refused to cede power until 24 hours ago bid farewell to his home country as he left for Guinea last night.
He left the country in company of his wife and Guinean president, Alpha Conde.
Adama Barrow who is his successor would return to the country to properly assume office after he was sworn in at the Gambian Embassy in Senegal on Thursday.
Barrow has however confirmed that Jammeh will only be returning to the country when everything becomes calm.
