Legendary singer, Lauryn Hill has just become a grandmother as her young son welcomed his first child .
Yesterday, her ex Rohan Marley took to Twitter to announce that their son, the 19-year-old Zion Marley, has welcomed a boy of his own with an unnamed girlfriend.
The newborn is called Zephaniah, after the Bible: Zephaniah 3:16.
“In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack,” Rohan captioned the photo of the newborn.
Zion Marley also shared a photo of the baby, on his Instagram account, saying, “If there ever was a question who I do it for…#myson.”
Though Lauryn Hill, who values her privacy, is yet to speak up on becoming a grandmother, her family and fans are all up on social media, celebrating the news.
