Michele And Barack Obama Set Social Media Agog With This Valentine Day Note To Each Other
Barack and Michelle Obama’s latest social media activity today has got Americans talking and wishing the lovebirds were still back in the White House.
This morning the former First Lady of the United States took to her Instagram to write her husband a a loving Valentine note.
“Happy Valentine’s Day to the love of my life and favorite island mate, @barackobama,” she captioned the photo of their feet.
Barack Obama quickly returned the gesture via twitter in a note that drew major social media attention.
“Happy Valentine’s Day, @michelleobama! Almost 28 years with you, but it always feels new,” he said to her in a tweet that has gotten over 173,000 favourites in less than an hour.

This lovely exchange of messages has set hearts fluttering and reminded many Americans on social media of how much they miss the former first couple.
“This is like watching your ex live happily without you,” blogger Baller Alert said. Another Instagrammer added, “So dassit? They just gone move on like we never existed.”
The couple has been on vacation since they left office.
Americans are inundating the couple with tweets and notes, begging the Obamas to either quit taunting them with their vacation photos, or come back and rescue their country from Trump.
