The drama started yesterday when Remy Ma dropped her Nicki Minaj diss song titled ‘Shether’, where she completely dragged the Trinidadian rapper for filth, her family and everyone associated with her – like she had promised to do. And one of the accusations Remy made in her song was an allegation that Nicki slept with singer Trey Songz.
Trey Songz seemed visibly upset that he was being included in a beef between the two women. “Even when you stay out of the way they will have ya name all in some shit. Wake up to new comedy everyday. Focus,” he tweeted.
And this upset Nicki Minaj because she fired back at him, saying he could have denied having any sexual relationship with her and not making such post. She reminded him that she got him a platinum plaque because of their collaborative songs. In response, Songz pointed her to the video he made on his Instagram where he denied the Remy accusation.
Nicki Minaj is obviously very upset by the diss song. However many people, including Trey Songz felt her anger was misdirected- why not slam Remy back?
“You need to be mad at Remy Nicki,” Trey Songz replied her, adding that this drama won’t affect their relationship. “I still love you,” he told her.
And Nicki finally deleted her tweets.
