Olamilekan Ogunleye: Meet Enterprising 10-Year-Old Barber Who Earns N10,000 Daily

The story of 10 year old Olamilekan Ogunleye has been the talk of social media for the past week or so.

Olamilekan who is still a primary school student is a young barber on the island who reportedly makes as much as N10,000 a day and on average he takes home N5,000.

Because of his creds, he is touted to have a long list of customers who sometimes have to wait in lines to get their hair cut by the whiz-barber. Which is a testament to how good he is.

In this chat with Pulse TV’s Chuey Chu, we get to watch him chat with Olamilekan who is very polite, loves his music – including Adekunle Gold’s music – and loves his football.

  Lol, I don’t think this is a case of child abuse. The kid obviously loves what he does, and if given more time, he could be a world class barber pretty soon. i just sincerely hope that the money is being saved up for him in a trust or something.
