The Nigerian music industry and the Christian body in Nigeria was thrown into a state of morning after news of the death of popular Gospel artiste, Eric Erubayi filtered put.
Incase you didn’t know, Eric Erubayi who is an acclaimed gospel artiste was also the 3rd Runner up at the West African Idol season 1.
He reportedly died at the Delta State University Teaching Hospital after a brief illness which was possibly aggravated after the ingestion of a fake drug.
There is an unconfirmed report that Eric Arubayi died after taking an expired malaria drug.
The people that will be most affected by this unfortunate demise is his very young family. He left behind a young beautiful wife and a son who is even barely into his second year.
In some of the pictures that has since been shared by friends, he was pictured with his wife, Chinonso Arubayi and son.
Eric Arubayi who was a very private man when it came to his family had just celebrated his 3rd wedding anniversary last two months, Dec. 28th 2016.
He was just in his mid-30s.
