The police in Ekiti have arrested one Tosin Oluwatosin, with a freshly cut human head in Ifaki-Ekiti, Ido/Osi Local Government Area of the state.
According to the police, Oluwatosin and his brother, David, who is on the run, were accused of killing the victim, whose body is yet to be recovered.
During interrogation by the police, the suspect confessed that the head belonged to a 12-year-old victim, this is according to The Nation newspaper
Confirming the incident to reporters on Wednesday, police spokesman Alberto Adeyemi said Oluwatosin was arrested about 3.35 pm.
Adeyemi said: “Yes, it is true. One of the suspects is on the run. The victim is about 12-year-old and we are still looking for the body.
He said the police would investigate if the brothers were involved in the recent spate of beheadings in the state.
