Vindicted: After Calling Seyi Shay A Liar, Bill Board Reveals Wizkid Actually Wrote ‘One-Dance’ For Drake
During a recent interview, Singer Seyi Shay revealed that Drake’s monster hit ‘One Dance’ was originally Wizkid’s song. She also added that the song was originally set out to be an afro beat song, and was produced by a couple of Nigerian producers.
When someone tweeted a video of the interview at Wizkid asking him to confirm if it was true. Wizkid replied:
Seyi Shay as a result apologized and called it an oversight. Read the initial story HERE.
But now it appears Seyi Shay was right after all. Few minutes ago, Wizkid shared his Billboard recognition as the writer of the song and disabled the comment section of the post. See below:
Having being proven right, Seyi Shay obviously deserves now deserves an apology. Heres hoping Wizkid is not too proud to give her one.
Being vindicated is enough, Wiz don’t owe that meddling pokenoser any apology. He never gave her the right to release the statement in the first place, plus that move by her could have a negative effect on Baba nla crooners career, she does not know the agreement btw young Wiz and Drake, if it’s non disclosure, and under the law, you know what that means Moji.
Though she’s right, I’ll advice she let it go and follow the advice of chief commander Ebenezer Obey… “Falana gbo tie, Tara Eni la gbo”, which means mind your business…
