A few celebrities have taken to social media to condemn the arrest of controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo.
So here’s a low-down on the gist if you missed it.
Kemi was arrested earlier this month at her Ibadan home and remanded in a Port-Harcourt prison over her report on an alleged sex scandal between the General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyomie and actress Iyabo Ojo.
For weeks now, the 52-year-old vociferous blogger has remained in a Port-Harcourt prison cell after failing to meet her bail conditions.
Then yesterday, a bail hearing was held at a Magistrate court in Port-Harcourt and Kemi was reportedly granted bail to the tune of N200,000, along with another publisher, Samuel Walson, who was also arrested.
However, while Walson was freed, Daily Post reports that Kemi was re-arrested over fresh charges of defamation and false publication.
Now celebrities such as Gay rights activist Bisi Alimi and OAP Daddy Freeze are criticising the whole case.
