Ifeanyi Ubah Denies Being Arrested By DSS
Billionaire businessman, Ifeanyi Ubah has denied reports that he was arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS).
Ubah was allegedly arrested over his dealings with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
He however dismissed reports of his arrest as mere propaganda.
“If I am arrested, I would not be talking with you now,” Ubah told The Guardian.
“They should continue writing, but those who are in doubt should come and watch football match tomorrow because I would be there,” he added,
The NNPC, on March 17, 2017, said that it would take full measures to recover about N11 billion worth of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) which it stored in the facilities of Ubah’s company, Capital Oil and Gas Ltd in Lagos.
Ubah, in response, said that NNPC owes Capital Oil billions of Naira from their mutual business transactions.
