Rapper, Yung6ix Publicly Gifts $10,000 To Friend Who Helped Launch His Music Career But Fans Are Mad At Him For It It
Rapper Yung6ix is stirring mixed reactions on social media with a new Instagram video.
The 27-year-old rapper, real name Onome Onokohwomo, took to Instagram yesterday to recall how he was helped by a certain man 8 years ago when he was still trying to kick-start his music career.
According to Yung6ix, the man identified only by his IG handle @iamblackking gave him N10,000 to chase his dreams as an artiste and now that he is successful, he has decided to appreciate him.
The video showed the Kpansh rapper counting several dollar bills before handing it to his Samaritan friend, who excitedly hugged him. The man also shared the wad of money on his page and gave Yung6ix a shout out.

Pretty awesome, right? Well, fans don’t seem to think so.
After posting the video, fans hopped on the post to condemn his public display of altruism. Many thought it would have been better if he hadn’t recorded the goodwill or shared it on social media.
