Bassey’s eviction from the #BBNaija house last night came as a shock to many.
During the eviction show, much to the shock of even the housemates themselves, the mysterious Biggie announced that three other housemates, Debbie Rise, Tboss and Bally were safe, while the playful Bassey was asked to leave the house.
This has stirred mixed reactions from Nigerians, many of whom are sad to see the articulate and lively housemate go.
Some have praised him for how he coordinated himself all through his stay, no matter how much DebbieRise was attracted to him.
Speaking after the show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu asked if he would date DebbieRise outside the house and the evicted housemate said he has a girlfriend already.
This has earned Bassey more respect, unlike ThinTallTony who crossed a line many people never expected – from denying his own daughter on live TV, to lying about his marital status.
Now, Nigerians are praising Bassey, while some are wishing him the best of luck in his endeavours.
