“PMB, Time To Let Go” – Abdulmumin Jibrin Calls For Buhari’s Resignation
Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin (APC-Kano), the former Chairman of House Committee on Appropriation, who is currently serving a one year (180 legislative days) suspension, has advised that President Muhammadu Buhari should resign, in the interest of Nigerians.
He said that although the president is a great man – “an enigma like Mandela” – the challenges of working actively for over 50 years and his current health challenges will have a negative impact on his work as president.
He said that the president opt for a negotiated exit, adding that he (Buhari) should be given “a special concession to nominate a new Vice President” after his resignation.
He adds that his wife, Aisha Buhari, should be considered for a cabinet position.
