Two weeks after sitting for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, candidates who have yet to know their results have expressed worries.
Some of the candidates who spoke with our correspondent from different parts of the country on Monday claimed to have written the examination 14 days ago and had been checking the results online without success.
The candidate, who does not want to be identified, said, “I am now worried because there was no incident on that day and my friends who sat for the same examination already have their results.
I have been checking since Thursday last week and what comes out is, ‘You do not have any result yet’. I am worried because no school will offer me admission without my UTME score.’’
However, the Registrar, JAMB, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, in a text message to our correspondent, hinted that there might be more to the unreleased results.
“ After investigation, we shall release (results) for the innocent and punish the guilty,’’ he said….Hmmm…okay oooo!
