It was one of the most hotly-anticipated events of Hollywood’s social calendar – only made more exciting this year by its milestone 70th anniversary.

So it is no wonder A-list celebrities turned up in show-stopping gowns, as they paraded the red carpet of the Annual Cannes Film Festival’s Opening Gala.

The models, known for stunning appearances, captivated all attention in their strikingly similar silk gowns, complete with thigh-high splits, on the famous Palais des Festivals red carpet – before Bella sadly suffered a fashion faux-pas, as she accidentally flashed her knickers while posing for cameras.
