Semi Finalists Emerge From FGT Gospel Talent Contest (Ibadan Zone)
The maiden edition of the FACES of GOD TALENTS HUNT show took off on a very high note at Ibadan, Oyo State. The zonal Auditioning which took place on 19th July in Tafo Arena Sango, Ibadan witnessed a large turnout of talented Nigerians, both young and old who came out to battle for qualifying tickets in 3 categories, Music, Dancing and Drama.
At the end of the hotly contested competition, 9 lucky winners emerged. Among the winners are, Raji Adeola, Emmanuel Joshua, Ibirinde Adetola Mary, Gospel Flow, Amadiegwu Augustine. Others are; Abioye Olufikayo. Adejonwo Olamide, Chrysolite Crew and Glorious Vision Dance Drama Ministry (aka Swagger Papa). The qualifiers were picked by the judges as worthy semi – finalists who will join other yet to be picked winners from the other regional auditions coming up in LAGOS, PORTHACOURT and ABUJA.
Speaking to Journalists at the event, the Project Coordinator, Mr Jide Olalere expressed satisfaction with the large turnout of participants and also praised their conduct throughout the tedious process and stages before their final performance. He added that the FGT competition is a non-profit kingdom project aimed at giving talented individuals and groups with God – given creative talents the platform of projecting their talent to the outside world as well as a huge opportunity to praise God.
He stressed that the FGT is a pedestal for the abundant talents in Christendom to launch themselves into professional creative gospel careers. “By doing this, the project will populate the Kingdom of God, retain the gospel talents in the vineyard, empower the contestants, and keep improving and making our society better. Above all, FGT shall continue to build a society of gospel talents”. He concluded
