American Singer Chris Brown Expresses Displeasure Over Media Silence On Libya Slave Trade
American Singer, Chris Brown, took to his Instagram page this morning to express his displeasure over the fact that the slave trade currently going on in Libya hasn’t attracted as much media attention as it should.
Libya has recently been brought to the fore, mostly on social media, following claims of slave trade boom, alleged killings of migrants and human trafficking going on in the country. Nigerians are also affected in the said ‘mordern day slave trade’
Brown referred to past events world wide that sent the media into a frenzy but slave trade i.e People being sold in Libya isn’t gaining as much traction.

According to reports, the trade works by preying on the tens of thousands of vulnerable people who risk everything to get to Libya’s coast and then across the Mediterranean into Europe – a route that’s been described as the deadliest route on earth.
It is alleged that in the trade, people are sold for as low as an unbelievable $400.
