Like excerpts from a best selling horror novel, the ghost of a child or demonic baby is supposedly haunting a man’s flat, and he has photos and videos to prove it.
The guy identified as Adam Ellis, @moby_dickhead on Twitter lives in New York. He achieved viral fame when he started documenting the paranormal activities allegedly occurring in his apartment, on social media. According to his story the ghost/demon baby whom he calls ‘Dear David’ first started appearing in his dreams but crossed over to real life.
Adam’s bizarre experiences began in August when he started documenting his vivid dreams featuring a deformed child, on micro blogging social networking site Twitter. He claimed the child with a deformed head would sit in a green rocking chair at the foot of his bed while he experienced sleep paralysis. He also claimed that most times, the child starts to walk towards him, just before he wakes up startled.
The horrifying story quickly captivated many Twitter users and he has over the last 4 months amassed a following of more than half a million , with the initial thread already shared over 50,000 times.
Shortly after the first series of horrifying dreams, Adam said he dreamed of a girl approaching him in a library telling him that the boy he met was called ‘Dear David.’
“He’s dead. He only appears at midnight, and you can ask him two questions if you said “Dear David” first,” Adam claims she said. “But never try to ask him a third question, or he’ll kill you.”
After that dream, David appeared to him again, and Adam asked him how he died, learning it was an accident in a store when someone pushed a shelf onto his head. Adam claims that after mistakenly asking the third question, the child attempted to kill him in the dream, and he woke up petrified. He researched David’s story online but was unable to find anything.

Adam moved to a vacant apartment in the same building later that month, thinking the move would free him from ‘Dear David’ and for a while, all the paranormal activity stopped. But the story took an even spookier turn when Adam installed a surveillance camera in his new apartment. The cameras have captured footage of several objects, including the green rocking chair, moving while he wasn’t home.
“It’s basically a nanny cam that connects to the wifi, so you can check in whenever you want. It runs 24/7,” he explained via Twitter, adding that the camera sends an alert to his phone whenever it detects movement in his apartment.
“I decided to test it out this weekend. I was away from home one night, so I set up the camera before I left,” he went on to say. “My phone pinged periodically through the evening, alerting me to the cats running around and playing. Normal stuff.”
Then, around 11, it alerted me again that it detected motion, but when I checked the feed of my apartment, I didn’t see anything.

Around 11 pm, however, things got creepy again. In the clip, Adam’s cats seem to be battling an invisible being. Meanwhile, a cup slides, seemingly by itself, several inches across his coffee table. Half an hour later his phone pinged again, and this time the footage showed a souvenier turtle shell mounted to the wall suddenly fall. Adam turned his phone off at that point and stopped checking alerts.
Adam decides to travel to Japan for a few weeks hoping that a change of enviroment would rid him of ‘Dear David’s paranormal activity. And while in Japan, he said everything seemed peaceful and normal until when he was about to leave. Adam said he came across a cylindrical statue with multiple faces and figures which he found interesting and decided to take pictures of it 360. Shockingly, one of the figures in the statue according to Adam had the same dented head as ‘Dear David’, and he shared the photos. See below:

In the most recent update on the Twitter thread, Adam claims that he has had yet another experience with the demon baby/ghost. He described a nightmare in which once again David was sitting on the chair at the foot of his bed, while he was almost completely paralyzed.
He wrote:
‘I still felt mostly immobile, but I could squirm a just little bit. I felt more alert. I could move my hands somewhat. David glared at me, and I dreaded what I knew was coming. He was going to get out of the chair and come toward me, like before.”
Adam had enough mobility to grab his phone, and he started taking pictures as the child approached, thinking “If David is going to kill me, maybe I can at least get evidence on my phone.”
When he woke up the next morning, he checked his phone, and discovered dozens of dark photos of the roll, indicating that his experience had been more than a nightmare. He shared the pictures on Twitter and told his followers to turn up the brightness on them. What the photos reveal is truly horrifying.

The whole story sounds very creepy and almost like the script of a horror movie, but the videos and pictures makes one really think about the possibility it just might be true.
