The Kwara State Police Command paraded a suspect, Olayinka Abbas Akeem, arrested with seven human skulls along Ilorin-Ajaselpo road.
According to reports from the state Commissioner of Police, the suspect, confessed during interrogation that himself and a friend identified as Bante, who is currently at large exhumed the heads at a muslim cemetery located in the Ifelodun LGA of the state on Tuesday, November 21st.
Akeem told the police that Bante lured him into exhuming the skulls with the belief that human rituals was the easiest way to make money.
The Commissioner said the police are on the trail of his accomplice and the case will be charged to court as soon as investigation is concluded on the matter.
