A suspected destitute who fell into a swamp at the sand-filled spot inward Iyana – Oworo, Third Mainland Bridge, was Rescued Alive today 23rd December 2017 by Emergency Responders from the LASEMA Response Unit, Lagos State Fire Service and the State Ambulance Services (LASAMBUS). With the help of the LRU sophisticated Crane and trained Rescue Specialists, the team successfully reached the depth of the swamp and rescued the victim alive. The victim was confirmed to be in satisfactory condition and was taken to the Gbagada General Hospital for further treatment.
