The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has issued an official statement on the return of Atiku Abubakar to the party from the ruling APC.

The party took to its twitter page to express its joy, and call on other members to return home: ‘the return of the former Vice President @atiku to our great Party the @OfficialPDPNig is a welcome development. We are glad that he has realized the unbridled lies/deceit of his fomer Party, @APCNigeria. Again, we call on all our members still in APC to return home’.
In the statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, the party said that Atiku’s Return home is a welcome development and enjoined its members nationwide to come together as one family as they march to Eagle Square, Abuja on Saturday 9th – Sunday 10th to elect new leaders.
