More Photos From Fatima Dangote And Jamil Abubakar’s Wedding

Earlier today, we brought you some photos from the Kano wedding ceremony of Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote’s daughter, Fatima Dangote and Jamil Abubakar, son of former Inspector General of Police, M.D. Abubakar, which took place last night.

We have gotten more photos from the event which Former First lady of Nigeria, Mariam Abacha, First Lady of Niger State, Dr. Amina Abubakar Bello, First lady of Kano State, Dr. Hafsatu Abdullahi Granduje, Hajiya Aisha Babangida and many others attended. Recalll that at the couple’s pre-wedding dinner, one of the highlights of the event was Aliko Dangote reuniting with his ex-wife who is also his first wife and Fatima’s mother.

Dangote’s first wife was selected for him in 1977; that was when he was 20 years old. He later fell in love with Nafisat Yar’adua, the young daughter of Umaru Musa Yar’adua, the late President of Nigeria.

Nafisat however refused to marry him because she and Dangote’s daughter were friends. Nafisat later married Alhaji Isa Yuguda, the Governor of Bauchi State, to become his fourth wife at the age of 21; this was in 2009.

Dangote got married to Mariya A D Muhammad Rufai, who is the daughter of Commissioner for Women Affairs and Human Services in Bauchi state. He later divorced her too.

At present, no one knows who his current wife is. There were words on the raven sometimes ago that he got wedded to one Sylvia Nduka, who is an ex-beauty queen.

The ex-beauty queen of 2013 had been seen cruising around in Dangote’s jet and she had even added Aliko Dangote’s name to the back of her name. She was said to have updated her Instagram name to Sylvia Nduka AD, where AD means Aliko Dangote. There are also words on the raven that their romance has crashed.

Some other women have also been romantically linked to the billionaire. These include the Director and Secretary of his United Kingdom subsidiary, Dangote Global Services, Miss Oluwatosin Coker while another is the late Ondo-born business executive, sugar merchant and reverend with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Rev. Chief (Mrs.) Josephine Oluwadamilola Kuteyi, with whom he dragged the purchase of the Bacita Sugar Factory. A divorcee mother of four sons (Saheed, Ganiyu, Ahmed and Rasaq), she died in a helicopter crash in Osun State in 2011 while on her way to her Bacita sugar company in Kwara State. The helicopter plunged from a height of 2,500 feet, killing all the occupants.
